A Glimpse on Jay Sekulow
Jay Sekulow graduated from Mercer University with the bachelor degree as cum laude and doctor of jurisprudence after he served as one of the editorial staff of Mercer Law Review. He worked at the Office of Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service as tax trial attorney after his graduation. Sekulow got his Ph.D. with the American Legal History dissertation at Regent University.
Further accomplishment in his chosen field, Jay Sekulow founded American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) in 1990 which specializes in constitutional laws. He got himself involved in various public policy issues by putting the public interest first and providing protection on religious and constitutional freedom. He also created the European Center for Law and Justice (ECLJ) which is the place of European Court of Human Rights. He serve both ACLJ and ECLJ as chief counsel and expands the office of the latter starting from Strasbourg, France, as their based to Russia, Zimbabwe, and some Asian countries.
Jay Sekulow appears before the Supreme Court mostly fighting for cases that involves religious freedom and constitutional liberties. He helps carving the way for students to create religious organizations and clubs at their schools and the freedom of expression for religious belief minus the fear of having any criminal charges.
Jay Sekulow is also a well-known and respected broadcaster. Jay Sekulow Live! is a program he have together with his son Jordan that tackles the most controversial issues of the day and is broadcasted in more or less 850 stations in the US area. He also appears in different television program, either a host or a guest.##
